Xbox 360

Yeahhhh I finally opened up my 360 that I've had sittin' around for a while and I hooked it up to a HDTV today. It looks beautiful! My wife and I have been playing Halo 2 online but that's not all you can do with a 360. There is an option to scan your local network for computers, and once found you can link your computer's photos and music to the Xbox. There's also USB ports to connect your iPod and listen to it while you play. You can even play your playlists from iTunes. Or, when playing from your music library you can choose a high-def screensaver that is amazing to look at. It's incredible- even moreso now that I'm looking at HD. Anyways, that's it! Go get your own 'cause it's worth it. You can look me up online: my gamertag is T1ESTO (that's a "zero" for the "o") anyways.

Yeah, I keep thinking a 360 looks awfully nice. Honestly, the media streaming is the biggest pull right now. When apple announced the iTV to stream content from itunes and any other apple software i was absolutely floored that it is slated to cost 300 bucks.
300 bucks?
and all it does is stream content from my pc?

sure it does it well, it's pretty, all that jazz. But... couldn't I just get a 360? Or even build a pc for my living room with a decent tv card for 400 bucks? (100 of which would be for the OS)

The 360 would be much more tempting if there was the option to actually store more content there. Giving the box a second hard drive of say, 500 gb, would be wonderful.

Yeah, hopefully you'll be able to "mod" the 360 one day with a bigger hd but also still allowing you to play xbox live. I have a modded original Xbox with thousands of games on it. I recommend the 360, though. I was surprised at all it can do, how beautiful the games look on a LCD/plasma screen, and the HDDVD drive for it should be coming out soon and rumored to be only $200.00. Yee-uh, homeboy.
