Today my wife wrote me an AMAZING little poem. Here it is (in Portuguese):

Aos poucos você foi chegando e com seu jeito meigo e carinhoso conquistou devagarzinho cada pedacinho do meu coração.

Tão opostos e ao mesmo tempo tão complementares e essa sintonia tão perfeita às vezes me passa medo, mais como ter medo ao seu lado se cada vez que te olho com tristeza ou insegurança seus lábios se abrem em um sorriso e a sua boca em um beijo. É você quem me passa paz e segurança nos momentos em que eu mais preciso, você para mim é mais que um namorado, amante, marido... meu amigo, meu amor...

12 GB Memory Card: $14,000!

This is an ad I saw on the internet for a 12 GB Compact Flash memory card:

“If you're into serious digital photography you have to pre-order a Pretec 12 GB CF card. “These new cards will be available as 3 GB, 4 GB, 6 GB and 12 GB. The first three cards (3, 4 & 6 GB) are available in Japan as of today, the larger 12 GB card by the end of the year. Despite lower NAND flash prices these cards are still unbelievably expensive, the 3 GB card is 166,000 YEN ($1,490), the 4 GB card is 207,00 YEN ($1,860), the 6 GB card is 525,000 YEN ($4,700), the 12 GB card is expected to be 1,659,000 YEN ($14,900).They're only $14.900! Before taxes. All joking aside, it's nice to see they are squeezing that much capacity into a compact flash card. Of all camera storage media, compact flash is my favorite and the most economical.”
